Machine Gun Kelly
Machine Gun Kelly was born Colson Bakker. He is a rapper hailing from America that has seen a rapid increase in popularity due to his unique style as well as his musical skills. Most well-known for his quick explosive lyrical flow which was also the source of his stage moniker Machine Gun Kelly, MGK started his rap career while in high school. He soon earned a huge local fan base through the release of several mixtapes. The "stamp of approval" was his most successful mixtape, released in the year 2006. The mixtape was a hit with many people. His first mixtape was what gave MGK the push to launch on a music career. Over time, he released four more mixtapes. In 2011, his career took off when he landed a recording contract in partnership with Bad Boy, and Interscope Records. The following year his debut lace up album was released. It received an enthusiastic reception from the media. The album debuted at #4 on the US Billboard 200 chart, it had a variety of hit singles like Wild Boy, Invincible, Stereo and Hold On (Shut up!). General Admission was his next studio album. Released in October 2015 the album debuted at the number. 4 on Billboard 200 as well as the top spot in the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums.
